The 8th International Conference on Applied Physics and Materials Applications
Pattaya, THAILAND.
7 - 10 December 2026
The ACerS-Thailand Chapter and the Rare-Earth Minerals Association are pleased to announce and cordially invite you to participate in The 8th International Conference on Applied Physics and Materials Applications (ICAPMA 2026), which will be held December 7–10, 2026 in Pattaya, Thailand. ICAPMA 2026 continues the long-standing tradition of providing a prestigious international forum for scientists, researchers, engineers, and students to exchange knowledge, present cutting-edge research, and establish new collaborations in the fields of applied physics and materials science. The conference aims to bring together leading experts from academia, research institutions, and industry worldwide to discuss recent advances, emerging technologies, and future challenges in materials science and applied physics.
The ICAPMA conference series was inaugurated in 2013, when the first conference was organized by Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University in Cha-Am, Thailand. This inaugural event marked the beginning of a vibrant international platform for researchers in applied physics and materials science. Building on its success, the conference series continued to expand internationally. ICAPMA 2015 was organized by Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University in Pattaya, followed by ICAPMA 2017, also held in Pattaya with significantly increased international participation. The fourth conference, ICAPMA 2019, was hosted in Medan, Indonesia, further strengthening the global reach and international collaboration of the ICAPMA community.
Continuing the biennial tradition, ICAPMA–JMAG 2021 was successfully organized in Pattaya and attracted more than 400 participants, demonstrating strong international engagement and high academic quality. The most recent conference, ICAPMA 2023, again held in Pattaya, welcomed nearly 500 participants from around the world, reflecting the growing reputation and scientific impact of the ICAPMA conference series. In 2025, a special joint conference, ICAPMA–ICREM 2025, was organized in Pattaya by combining two international events, attracting more than 550 participants and further strengthening international cooperation within the materials science and applied physics communities.
In this year’s conference, we are honored to announce a collaborative event with the rare-earth and minerals association. This conference aims to provide a comprehensive platform for researchers working at the intersection of applied physics, materials science, and rare earth element applications. By bringing together these complementary fields, we seek to foster interdisciplinary collaborations and address complex challenges through shared expertise and innovative approaches.
According to the original biennial schedule, the next ICAPMA conference would normally be organized in 2027. However, due to the preparation of a major international conference jointly organized by the ACerS-Thailand Chapter and the International Radiation Physics Society (IRPS), the organizing committee has decided to adjust the schedule and host ICAPMA 2026 instead. ICAPMA 2026, the eighth conference in this well-established series, is expected to represent another important milestone for the international research community. The conference will provide an exceptional opportunity for participants to present innovative research results, exchange scientific insights, explore emerging research directions, and strengthen international collaborations in applied physics and advanced materials. We warmly invite researchers, academics, industry professionals, and students from around the world to join us in Pattaya, Thailand, for ICAPMA 2026, and to contribute to advancing the frontiers of applied physics and materials science.
