ICAPMA 2026

The 8th International Conference on Applied Physics and Materials Applications

7 - 10 December 2026 Pattaya, THAILAND
Session: Technical Symposia: Piezoelectric and Triboelectric Materials — From Fundamental Mechanisms to Energy Harvesting and Self-Powered Sensing Systems

(This symposium is organized in part under the support of the NRCT Senior Research Scholar Grant)

Chair: Prof. Dr. Naratip Vittayakorn (KMITL, Thailand)

This symposium brings together researchers working across the full spectrum of piezoelectric and triboelectric materials science — from fundamental material design and interfacial charge-transfer mechanisms to advanced device engineering for energy harvesting and self-powered sensing applications. We welcome contributions on novel piezoelectric ceramics and polymers, triboelectric material systems, surface/interface modification strategies, hybrid and composite nanogenerators, as well as their integration into practical energy harvesting devices, wearable systems, and self-powered biosensors. The symposium aims to foster cross-disciplinary discussion connecting fundamental materials research with real-world functional applications.

Topics include but are not limited to:

Piezoelectric ceramics, polymers, and composites (e.g., P(VDF-TrFE), BaTiO₃-based systems)
Triboelectric material design and surface engineering
Interfacial charge generation and transfer mechanisms
Hybrid piezoelectric–triboelectric nanogenerators
Energy harvesting devices and power management
Self-powered sensors and biosensing systems
Wearable and flexible energy/sensing devices
